Being a working stiff is no fun sometimes, but it beats the alternative of ...not being able to pay bills or eat and stuff like that.
The more I think about it, the more I feel as though the deadline to finish FM is not going to be made. I think I will resolve to finish it when certain things have been laid to rest, though I will not forget it. However, if time permits, I should be able to arrive in Houston on May 16th to catch the latter parts of Zine Fest. If anything else, I can distribute back issues of FM, though it's disturbing that the master copies are nowhere to be found.
I actually have been working on FM, but only a little at a time. There are many things to keep me distracted or engaged with. Hopefully my station in life will change very soon. There is something good waiting for me in September, but I will have to wait an see.
I'm most productive at night when there are no other obligations to occupy my time. Part of me has seriously considered taking amphetamines.
What I'm doing:
1. Working on some kind of mini-game for FM. An expanded form of "Escape from 48" using dice, paper and pencil, and some playing cards.
2. Zero was nice enough to produce some vectorized logos for me. Working on another Faux ad for Medusa Weapons, which are the term given to sound weapons. Neat stuff, like resonating the human skull.
3. Painting a shoe box white. Using paint pens, it will be transformed and then wonderful things will go inside.
4. Thars a lot more comics to draw. Hyuk. Vidya games, russian bounding mines, and Tox Slut too.
All of you are going to love reading "The Match". I've been sitting on it for a while. Kirb was nice enough to submit it. I need to consult with my mentor about my bug out bag for when the Swine Flu virus mutates and starts zombifying people. Seriously, that shit is starting to worry me. Oh yeah, been falling in love with Buildmen ever since I laid eyes on them. [link] Check out the junk shop.
I wonder how hard it is to squeeze into the coin-operated candy/toy dispenser business.
I have follow up notes on trades. I didn't forget about you peeps. I'm just real busy.

haven't heard from you in a while! Don't tell me you really did take that sweet embrace!
Well hope your doing A-OK!

How many lemons does it take for a woodchuck to screw in a lightbulb?
"What happens then?"
"Nothing! We just suck."

Heheheheheheheheh. The part that surprises me is that this appears to be real through and through. Which is a bit hard to believe on some of their examples.
